Richlite® surfacing is durable and resistant.

Richlite® surfaces are made from paper. To ensure the surface maintains its appearance throughout its lifespan, please follow the care instructions.

In general, stains can be easily removed from the Richlite® surface.
Absolutely avoid bleach products or abrasive cleaners.

Richlite® is extremely dense and durable. The material is resistant to scratches and burn marks, but - like most surfaces - it can be damaged, for example, if a hot frying pan is placed on it. For larger scratches, stubborn stains, or grooves that cannot be removed, you can sand the cutting board yourself with fine sandpaper.


Sanding

If the material shows scratches, grooves, and signs of wear, it can be sanded with an eccentric sander (150 grit) and then roughened with a medium Scotchbrite scouring pad. Finer sanding is not recommended.

For surface treatment, the use of a cooking oil is sufficient. Afterward, it can be wiped off with kitchen paper. To remove sanding particles, it should be cleaned again in the dishwasher.

After sanding, the NXT Board will look like new again!
